Land · Fire · Field isn’t a slogan. It’s how I live.
I’ve built my career helping people buy and sell land across North Texas and Southeast Oklahoma. Farms and ranches, recreational properties, development tracts, commercial land, and larger acreage have all been part of that work.
But my connection to land goes well beyond a transaction.
I’m a landowner myself. I hunt, manage wildlife habitat, work on the property, plant gardens and trees, cook over fire, and spend as much time outdoors as I can. I’ve studied permaculture and land design, which has shaped the way I think about water, soil, wildlife, and how people actually use a piece of ground.
Over the years, those experiences have changed the way I look at land and the way I help clients with it.

There’s something about cooking outdoors over a real fire that slows things down. Good food, good people, and a fire have a way of turning an ordinary evening into something worth remembering.

Where I’d rather be.
Hunting, fishing, wildlife, habitat, gardens, orchards, trails, ponds, and simply being outside. The field is where land becomes more than something you own. It becomes something you experience.

WHY IT MATTERS
At the end of the day, land matters to me because of what happens on it.
It’s where families gather. Where kids learn to hunt and fish. Where gardens get planted, meals get cooked, projects get started, and memories get made.
Some of the best moments don’t require much: a piece of ground, people you care about, something cooking over a fire, and enough time to enjoy it.
That’s ultimately what Land · Fire · Field is about.

When I walk a property with a client, I’m looking at more than price per acre. I want to know where the water goes, how you access it, what the soil can support. Where wildlife travels. What improvements make sense. What development potential exists. Where you might build, hunt, graze, gather, or simply sit at the end of the day.
Sometimes the best advice is about what you could do with a property. Other times, it’s knowing what you probably shouldn’t do. That perspective comes from years in land real estate, but just as importantly, from actually spending time on the land.
